Enhancing the Resilience of Communities Living in Climate Change Vulnerable Areas of Sudan using Ecosystem based Approaches to Adaptation (EbA)

UNEP, in partnership with the Adapt for Environmental and Climate Resilience Project (ADAPT) project supports the Sudan Meteorological Authority (SMA) to implement the "Enhancing the Resilience of Communities Living in Climate Change Vulnerable Areas of Sudan Using Ecosystem-Based Approaches to Adaptation." Given the importance of weather forecasts and climate projections in resilience of farmer and pastoral communities, the ADAPT project in Sudan aimed at development of a roadmap for the expansion of its climate services with a view to better inform the public and decision-makers.
