A severe weather system is expected to bring heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms to the following regions: Red Sea, Nile River, Northern, Kassala, Gedaref, Khartoum Island, White Nile, Blue Nile, and northern North Darfur state. The Ethiopian Highlands and Eritrean highlands will also experience heavy rainfall, potentially leading to flooding in valleys, rivers, and streams, including Atbara and Qash rivers.
