A powerful storm system is expected to bring extremely heavy rains, thunderstorms, and strong winds to several regions, including: Central North Kordofan Southwest North Darfur Most of North Darfur West Darfur Central and South East Darfur Most of West Kordofan These heavy rains may lead to devastating flash floods in these areas. Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in the Ethiopian Highlands and Eritrean Highlands, which may cause severe flooding in the Kassala region through the Gash River.
